High Mountain Vines Chardonnay 2021

Catena High Mountain Vines 2021 Chardonnay is a great value Argentinean Chard at $20. Dry, medium-plus-bodied and zesty, look for ripe peaches, apple pie, lemon curd and toasty oak spice flavours with a kiss of vanilla, creamy, fresh and lingering on the palate. About 60% of the wine was aged in French oak barrels for 10 months while the remainder saw elevage in stainless-steel tanks. Grapes are sustainably grown and were sourced from four vineyards, 950 to 1,450 metres above sea level. Chill and enjoy with roast chicken dishes.

Chardonnay food pairings: roasted stuffed chicken, seared scallops, pasta with primavera sauce, fish and chips.
